This was supposedly the inspiration for the Iron Maiden ( the torture device ie ) and the music connection we are looking for is , of course , Iron Maiden

The images are of ( Thomas Edison’s ) Frankenstein ( A ) , Clara Bow in Wings ( B ) , William Shatner in Incubus ( C ) and Boris Karloff in The Ghoul ( D ) . All of them are movies which were considered lost but rediscovered later . Such movies are referred to as “Lazarus” films after the eponymous biblical character who is restored to life by Jesus .
